Stanhome, an adventure that leads to qualifications!

At Stanhome, the sales force is a result of a hiring strategy based on openness. To join the direct sales teams, there are no preconditions, no standard CV. Everything is based on personality and talent! Everyone can find their place. That's why, since 2019 in France, the training teams and managers offer personalised support in obtaining a certification recognised by the French Minister of Labour. This is an unprecedented opportunity for coaches and team leaders. After the first two official diplomas were awarded last year, 15 new candidates joined the adventure in 2020!

The garment-making school

For several years, the Petit Bateau plant in Troyes, France, has been faced with staff retirements. To maintain its industrial know-how in the region, the brand has launched hiring campaigns. The problem? Not enough qualified people! So Petit Bateau decided to create its own garment-making school within its factory: Intensive transmission of skills and support over 15 months. And it works! Today, the school is in its fifth graduating class!

Every occasion is a chance to learn. That's why the Central HR team offers small group discussion sessions the HR cafés as well as “Bubble” conferences. Anyone can take part, whether on site or on Skype! Can't make it? No worries, you can even attend these events through a replay!

Yves Rocher Spain launched the HealthyCities initiative. Its goal? Offer employees a chance to participate in a sports challenge organised by the company's private health insurance system. 3, 2, 1, go!

FOR YOUR EYES ONLY

The teams at the Petit Bateau sites in Morocco were offered a total eyesight check-up on a dedicated day in 2019. A portion of the opticians' fees were covered by the company. An initiative that was greatly appreciated!

TODAY

In 2015, we set ourselves the objective to provide career opportunities for more than 1 million women around the world over a period of 5 years. In 2019, nearly 500,000 were created (and over 1.8 million since 2015)! Within the company, we launched the internal SKILLSHARE platform where employees from different countries can train each other and trade skills!


LOOKING TOWARDS 2030

To reconnect ourselves to nature, we first need to better understand natural ecosystems and the challenges human societies are facing, whatever their jobs! With this as our no. 1 priority, we are currently developing our brand-new training strategy.
