Developing a sustainable ecosystem with our suppliers
We cannot reach our goals without the expertise and commitment of our partners. We work to build relationships of trust with our suppliers here and abroad through education, responsibility and high standards.
Transparency and vigilance are the foundations of our procurement policy
Now more than ever, our customers pay attention to the composition and traceability of the products they buy. To meet these standards, we are strengthening our evaluation process for supplier risks. This is the subject of our ROCKS vigilance programme that got underway in 2017.
Our goal is two-fold: deploy our responsible procurement strategy throughout our value chain (everywhere in the world) and develop a more responsible collaborative ecosystem by including partners who share the same values as we do.
Risks minimised, units empowered
By transforming how we create our products, we can identify solutions that protect biodiversity and local communities
This is the subject of our partnership with the Earthworm foundation with whom we are working on the issue of palm oil in Indonesia, for example. This organisation works to bring together local players—on the field—to develop more responsible units. Our shared initiative addresses vital challenges through an integrated approach on subjects such as rurality, respect for workers, soil regeneration and the protection of local biodiversity.
ANTI-CORRUPTION/PRO-TRAINING
In 2019, we launched a platform dedicated to raising all our teams' awareness of the risks of corruption and conflicts of interest. In addition to this initiative, this year we are rolling out mandatory training in our Code of Business Conduct.
Thanks to our partnership with the company OUDIN, 620 tonnes of cardboard coming from our manufacturing plants are recycled and used for the packaging of our products (perfumes, gifts, etc.). Hurrah for circularity!
TODAY
We have taken great strides forward since signing the Responsible Supplier Relations Charter in 2013. Today, our suppliers' proper conduct is at the heart of our teams' work. They seek to improve the quality of our work together by listening, monitoring, and supporting them.
LOOKING TOWARDS 2030
We believe that traceability and transparency are key pillars of our positive transformation. So we are committed to making traceability and CSR a priority that is at the heart of our procurement strategy.
